After reviewing the Unit Readings and Resources, including the videos about diversity, equity, inclusion and bias,  respond to the following questions. Please reference the unit videos and your own experience in your discussion posts.  In your initial post, respond to the following questions: 

• As the teacher, how would you support a new child in your classroom who has a physical disability?  What are some ways that you could include the child’s family to help support the child’s development? Comment on why it is important to include the child’s family.
• Reflect on equitable practices: How would you ensure best practices for inclusion, diversity and equity in your classroom with children and their families? Please share examples of how you would approach each: inclusion, diversity, and equity.
