After you have reviewed the Input, Processing, Output paradygm for programmers (see slides), consider this following scenario and answer the following questions. You are asked by a fitness company to create an online web page to calculate a users body mass index. Consider what type of input, processing, and output you'll need to consider as a developer. Don't worry about exact JavaScript code. Just think about how to accomplish the calculation. You may need to search Google with "how to calculate body mass index". Answer these questions in English prose (i.e., write in plain English, not in JavaScript code).

Answer these questions in short sentences.

1. What processing operations do you need to do to data the users supplied you with to results in a body mass index? Or, what is the formula for a body mass index? Explain the formula in a sentence or two. Don't just list the formula?

2. After your code calculates an answer, how might you get the answer to the user?
