Sentence Outline: To keep you on track and to provide an opportunity for feedback on your developing essay, you will complete a sentence outline of your essay. Consider this a draft of your essay. Sentence outlines look like regular outlines, but instead of using key words for each section, you will use a complete sentence, ideally the topic sentence of each paragraph. Keep in mind that this is not a 5 paragraph
essay, so you will need to have a minimum of 7-8 paragraphs. See the resource in D2L about developing thesis statements and sentence outlines.
