13)               In an essay of at least 1.5 double spaced pages, defend the view that the separation of church and state in the United States is too restrictive of religion.

14)              In an essay of at least 1.5 double spaced pages, define the key successes of the civil rights movements in the United States and the reasons why they succeeded.
