Answer This Two Anthropology Question

The remains of Homo naledi to some were suggestive of an early form of Homo erectus while many others suggested that it must be a later type of human.  One of the main reasons that Homo naledi’s place was debated had to do with the fact that there was not a readily available date for the species.  In a recent article the date’s for Homo naledi have now been revealed.  Considering the time frame when Homo naledi existed, what might be the absolute oddest thing that makes Homo naledi different from the other humans that existed during that same time.
