If you do not have a physical copy of the text and you are using the

electronic version provided in class, please find an outside source this

week (as you normally do) exploring forensic anthropology's use in

examining cases of child abuse or war trophies.

After reviewing the case study, evidence, and findings, provide a 200+ word summary for classmates that includes:

1) What type of trauma was identified and how was it identified?

2) When did the trauma occur and how was the timing of the trauma determined?

3) Discuss one or two other characteristics that may be associated with

this particular type of trauma using the corresponding Byers textbook

(Chapter 12: Projectile trauma; Chapter 13: Blunt trauma; Chapter 14:

Sharp and miscellaneous trauma).
