GUI program that calculates research output units (ROUs) for an academic that

produces research outputs (journal articles, conference paper, completion of Master's and PhD

students) at a tertiary institution in South Africa.

The GUI should have a combo box with four options that the user can choose: journal article,

conference paper, Master's student, PhD student. A spin box to enter a number (int) to

represent the number of authors (in case of journal articles and conference papers) or number

of supervisors (in case of Master's and PhD students) for a research output. After the user has

chosen the type of research output and the number of authors/supervisors, they can click on a

submit button, which will calculate and display the ROU for individual research outputs and the

total ROU. The total ROU is displayed in a spin box and the individual research outputs are

displayed in a text edit as follows:
