This Primary Source Analysis is a discussion of two sources from, Voices of Freedom: A Documentary History, vol. 2, by Eric Foner.  Select one of the following pairs of sources and in three to four typed and double-spaced pages tell me what these sources are about and what specific problems they refer to.  What do they have to do with U.S. history?  What were each author's goals?  Are their goals similar or in conflict?  Explain.
