What was his thesis, and what was his subject, really? What was he evaluating, and how was he measuring it - what were his criteria? What do you think his purpose was in writing this evaluation, and how, if at all, has it changed the way you think about the things he discusses? How does his use of sources strengthen his argument, and what might have made it more convincing or interesting to you, personally?
