Add the final section to your experiential essay. Part 3 is a summary of what you learned from a combination of your experience (Part 1) and your research (Part 2). This section can be written in both first and third person. Part 3 should be five to six pages in length. Your entire Experiential Essay (Part 1, Part 2, and Part 3 combined) should now be fifteen to eighteen pages in length. Make sure your references within the essay (in-text citations) are in APA format. A separate reference page should be included at the end of the essay and should be in APA format.

Applying Concepts in New Situations: Explain how your experiences help illustrate the theories and principles you reference. Write about what you have learned and how you will be able to apply that knowledge to future situations.
