Profitability is becoming more critical, and change more inevitable. Organizations in the global economy must become acculturated with the mindset of change readiness to allow for rapid adaptation of organizational structures to meet changing business demands of the so-called “triple bottom line.” Modern business, has responded to the way stakeholders and stockholders view the viability of organizations as targets of investment by trending toward filling the role of the chief executive officer (CEO) with expert financiers. This creates a difference in management style at the highest levels of organizations that may or may not endure. In this assignment, you will synthesize the adaptive nature of global organizational structures with the new conceptualization of the CEO as an expert financier.
