In this assignment, you will examine the difference between normal science and action science in organizational change research. You will also explore conceptual and integrated models for understanding organizational change and their practical applications.

• What are the differences between normal science and action science in organizational research? How is knowledge of the differences important to you when practicing in the field?
• How can you use organizational change theory to understand how change actually happens in an organization? (Choose a theory and apply it to a change in your organization or an organization of interest.)
• Choose an organizational model from the readings and apply it to help you understand the behavioral dynamics of an employee in your current organization. Your example should help you (and your classmates) see how the model helped you to better understand the organizational behavior of the employee you wrote about.
