3. Choose one of the main characters from the play Romeo and Juliet(Nurse, Romeo, Juliet, Mercutio, or Tybalt), and think about how you would have approached his/her situation. 

A. What would you do differently? What would you do just as the character did? 

B. Write a modern-day scene based off that character and story. Will this character's differences define him/her? Or, will he/she expand beyond those differences? You decide. It's your story. This is a creative writing practice.  Have some fun with it!!
