1. The course outline on the Syllabus and the textbooks definitional outline both place ancient Greece and Rome into the same age and sharing the same zeitgest. Construct an argument for or against this choice. in other words, dose Rome Deserve its own age and zeitgeist. 

2.The textbook and the lectures both describe the middle ages as " an unhomogenized blend of elements from Ancient Rome,  Barbarin Europe and christianity." Demonstrate this claim.
