At this point in the class, you have learned of the numerous benefits of global trade.  While many people that trade among countries is a good thing, there is a great deal of dissent among those who believe that globalization, and the corresponding power it gives companies, is not beneficial for the world. The most fundamental and persistent argument against globalization revolves around the power of US corporations. The corporations argue that they bring jobs, greater choice, and lower prices into a market when they decide to start selling in new countries.  Many agree, but there are a sizeable amount of people across the world that believe that too many US companies push their culture on other countries, shut down too many local businesses, exploit foreign workers and that they simply have too much power and not enough corresponding regulation.  Which side do you agree with more?  Do you believe that both sides have valid points?  Explain.
