Students enrolled in TCM 645 (graduate students or accelerated Master's students). 

I just want everyone to get the most benefit from our course and decided to use an industry standard tool so that you can use to advance in your current role or add it to your resume as a marketable skill in demand. This will also open up you to the world of Big Data and using tools where excel functionality and presentation tools are not robust to handle.

You will be working and applying your knowledge of Tableau and create a very basic dashboard which displays project count, cost, shareholder information based on dynamic filters. Please refer to the attached detail instructions for your term project. You have a full month to work on it and submit your project. I want you to submit your Tableau file as a packaged workbook. This adds your data files to your file.

You do NOT need to purchase Tableau, if you go to their website and register with a student email, they provide you a license key and a link to download the software for free. I have Tableau 2022.2 desktop version installed which is the most current version available. There are free detailed training videos available on their website with sample data to follow using the application. The term project only covers few fundamental features of the application and hopefully build you a good foundation to use this powerful tool for personal & business needs.
