In this class you will read several papers: one scientific article and several popularmedia articles about scientific topics. For this assignment you should read the articles, then writea short synopsis or summary of the major points in each article. Each summary should beapproximately 1-2 paragraphs. This can be accomplished by writing a brief description of thearticle, followed by a critical analysis of the text (do the authors make their case effectively?),and then a statement of the relevance of the work (is this article useful, and how so?).
