Can you define and give an example of an observation?
An observation is the act of observing something to gain information or making a remark based on what you have seen.
There are two types of observations: Qualitative observations are observations based on the quality of the object. It cannot be measured. An example would be color and texture of a leaf. Quantitative observations are observations based on the quantity. It can be measured with numbers. An example would be distance you ran, the length of an object, the temperature outside, ect.
