Communication with Board Members in Supply Chain Management

Start thinking about a topic that you would like to explore in this course. Your topic should be something that interests you as you will be working with the topic for your upcoming assignments, including the final paper. It's best if your topic is related to your program (Supply Chain Management). 

If you look at the final paper assignment, you will see that you are going to be exploring a problem. How will you approach your topic looking at it as a problem? The sample in the assignment can help you.

In your initial post, describe the topic and how you might explore this problem.

Sample Post: The topic I would like to discuss is leading different generations and age groups.  Where I am in my career at almost 30 years old constantly I find myself being the oldest in some rooms and the youngest in others.  Without wanting to generalize age groups, technology and communication have undoubtedly created differences between different age groups in the work place.  Certain means of communication appear to be overall more effective to the younger professionals than those in older demographics.   I am looking forward to discussing these generalized differences and finding ways to bridge the gap as well as how to address those who may differ from their generational norms.  This topic is interesting to me because there may not be a definitive answer and may require a tailored response to specific situations
