Amber is a 16-year-old high school student who is experiencing a manic episodes and it had her family and friends concerned. She started skipping school her grades has gone down and things makes her irritable easy. She now has a high-risk behavior that includes fights, arguments and drinking; but she was not like this before the manic episode. With the next day she shows behavior that nothing seem to have happened. There are moments she will have mood cycles and cannot explain or understand why. Her mother took her see psychiatrist and Amber was diagnosis with Bipolar Disorder; Amber is now taking mood stabilizers. She see her psychiatrist twice a week.
