Consider how this matches up to your own experiences.  Think about the news you are exposed to every day.  What sources do you use for news?  Do you feel you are seeing "balanced coverage" of the issues?  Do you feel that certain articles overshadow other issues?  Is there a source for news that does not distort our perceptions?
