Does the sprite bottle soften or melt?

Does the thick wall bottle soften or melt?

Some bottles are made of HDPE which has melting point of 145C and softening point of 120C. Would an HDPE(high density polyethylene) with 0.8mm wall and 9cm diameter survive the boiling process??

Assume conductivity of HDPE is the same as one of polyester.
