Choose a Weather or Climate topic/event that you will focus on for your upcoming research project in a few weeks. Remember that your topic must be specific (ex. "Hurricane Katrina"....not just "hurricanes") and able to be fully researched by academic resources (ex. you will not be able to use Wikipedia or blog sources, so make sure your topic can be researched from valid sources). Please note that it must be a "weather" or "climate" event. Geological events such as a tsunami, earthquake or volcanic eruption are not weather events and cannot be used. 

a) Submit a full, one-page summary of your research topic, which should include:-A description of your topic/event-Reason why you chose to focus on this topic-How the topic is relevant to us todayb) The summary should be submitted as a Microsoft Word document, 12-point Times Roman font, double-spaced, 1-inch margin (one full page).c) Please include a heading at the top of the page with your name, our course section, and the proposed title of your presentation.d) You do not need to include References or a bibliography at this time
