Choose any topic from Part Three (Moral Problems).  You may choose the topic 'torture,' or 'euthanasia,' or 'world hunger,' etc.  Then choose any two chapters about that topic. Your selections must be about the same topic.  For example, you may not choose a reading on terrorism and then one on abortion.  Both must be about terrorism or both must be about abortion.

Third, write a summary of each chapter.  In each summary you must:

Identify the reading and the name of the author

Identify the main point the author is trying to make/prove

What evidence does the author give to prove/expand on that point?

What important terms does the author define?

Does the author provide a well-written argument?  Are you convinced by the evidence provided?

Document the page #s as you use information from the readings.
