The role of shareholders 

It makes sense to say that one of the main roles of a business is to make a profit. However, as Stout argued, focusing solely on profit for shareholders can be counter-productive. Write an essay about the role of profit and shareholders. 

Incorporate at least one of the following ethical theories and cite a thinker who defends that theory (I list some examples)

Virtue Ethics (Aristotle, Rosalind Hursthouse)

Deontology (Immanuel Kant, Frances Kamm)

Utilitarianism (John Stuart Mill, Peter Singer)
