Choosing artists for public commissions based on competition is very similar to our current job market, where there are often more candidates than jobs available. I know as college students, job hunting is forefront in your mind! Think about how you are working to become a strong candidate in your field to compete in this challenging job market, and compare some of your experiences with what you think these Renaissance artists went through.
