Civil lawsuit

Write a short essay in which you list some significant steps in a civil lawsuit. For each step you list, write a short definition of the step. For example, your list should probably begin with filing a COMPLAINT. You would then write a short definition of "Complaint." Then proceed to the second item on your list. You must include at least eight steps, but no more than ten steps. You must list the steps in the order in which they would occur in an actual lawsuit.

Always carefully cite your sources! I should be able to go to your cited sources and see how you used these sources to support whatever you have written. If your source is a website, be sure to provide the full URL address so that I can easily go to that source myself. Failure to cite your sources will result in a lower grade. You should include at least one source from the Internet, in addition to the course text.
