Kathy I agree with you. Social determinants of health can affect different funcioning and quality of life of individuals. When I think about the quality of life of the homeless I think about the condition in which they live, the unhealthy food they have to eat because they don't have a choise for a healthy meal. Healthy meal for a homeless person is a feast. Infectious diseases is higher in homeless people than in the general populaton. People who are homeless also die 30 years before reaching life expectancy compared to the general population and have higher prevalence to acquire infectious diseases.
