Leanet these are two very important and relevant topics. Through my experience, I have noticed that adhering to evidence-based practices does have better outcomes for patients. Unfortunately, in some instances I have noticed that some nurses are stuck in their ways and do not believe in advances in technology. With that said, I feel as though education is a pivotal part of implementing changes into practices. There are numerous steps that involved with evidence based practice. New practices should be valuable to the medical staff and/or patient. Evidence based practice must have evaluated outcomes (Jansson & Forsberg, 2016). Nurses and patients should also be thoroughly educated on the new practice and process. How do you suggest to assist fellow nurses with change?
