Great post Kellie. Nurse leaders are essential in facilitating change and ensuring high quality of care to patients and advancing our profession. We have all seen the results of cost saving measures by decreasing the number of RNs working and replacing with non registered or licensed staff. We as nurses and nurse leaders must have a voice and maintain key roles in the reengineering of healthcare.
