In some cases we need to provide a sample theory to assess the diffrences or similaries of a patient population. We must first specify a group of people and the size of the group in order to correctly pick the type of sampling we want to choose. For different type of sampling methods are done and depends on the type of study and results we are aiming for. For there are several different types of sampling methods and they are probablity, simple random selection, stratified random selection, and non-probabilty sampling. For a probability sampling isĀ when participants are randomly selected so that all members of the population have an equal chance of being selected in the sample, eliminating the possibility of sample selection bias. This gives us a good view or perspective of the paients population and the views they may hold on a specific study. For if we are to do a sampling study in a highschool and ask certain questions about healthcare, we will be able to get a unbiased assessment of what they think within this small community of people. This can work very will in a small community or to learn better healthcare methods if done in a hospital setting.
