Analysis of variance is a procedure used in statistics that is done to test the degree of variance (difference or change) between two or more groups that are included in the experiment. When there is a large change or variance in the research there is a large chance in the variance. An example would be something like a study that based favorite food off different cultures. In the case the food would be the common variable and the cultures would also be variables so if Hispanics, Americans, and Asians were all involved in the study the cultures would be the dependent variables. The analysis of variance is common and can be used in many ways in studies that affect everyday lives.
