Can someone help me edit my essay

My teacher said this : I noticed that a lot of the text was copied, word-for-word, from outside sources. You did list two sources at the end of your post, but you need to do two things:

1. Write posts in your own words, or at least mostly in your own words. I want to know what you think and how you react, and I can't tell that if you are copying other people's words.

2. When you borrow, give credit. This has TWO requirements: A) if you borrow exact words, such as three or more words in a row, you need to put them in "    ". Otherwise your reader will think that the wording is your own. B) Then list sources at the end. You did this part, but it is not enough to only do this; you also have to use "   " when necessary. If you discover that a majority of your writing needs to be in "    ", you should revise it so that you are only quoting sparingly.

-You can't edit your current essay, but you can copy the text, revise it in a Word document (for example), and post it again. Then, after you have posted the new version, you can delete the old one from the Discussion forum.
