Compose a 1000 words essay on The Concept of Ethnocentrism. Needs to be plagiarism free!

Finally, the paper will give an inclusive outline of ethnocentrism on the basis of cultural scrutiny with regard to cultural understanding. Introduction Ethnocentrism refers to a situation where a person perceives events from the world largely from his or her own culture. In ethnocentrism, people will give their opinion of other individuals in connection to their own specified culture or group, frequently with concern to religion, behavior, customs, and language. An ethnocentric individual presumes his own civilization’s manner of resolving issues is the proper way and all other ways are inappropriate. In addition, egocentrism holds that a group’s own manners is advanced to other group’s or perceiving other people as mediocre to one’s own. Individuals who make fictitious presumptions about other people’s manners on the basis of their own inadequate understanding are also assumed to be egocentric. The movie, made in Iran, is a reflection of Islamic misogyny and fundamentalism in reformed Iran. This is an account of a thirty year old woman who is fallaciously indicted of adultery by the local mullah and her tormenting companion. The woman is sentenced using the Sharia law and stoned to death by male individuals of the village, including his sons and husband (Sahebjam, 2011). The stoning is based on a real life event which occurred in 1986. The account is given by the victim’s aunt to the journalist with the anticipation of providing information on the state of affairs that lead to the victim’s death. Question 2 It may be difficult for an individual who has watched the movie to erase the picture of Soraya lying on the ground, being hit by stones, and blood sprouting from her crushed body after seeing what happens to Soraya and may be other powerless females who are murdered, abused or, violently mistreated (Sahebjam, 2011). The first thought that comes to an individual’s life during seeing the movie is, despite the woman being totally not guilty. it is not believable that death is the sentence for being an infidel. This form of penalty seems inconsiderate to me because I am not accustomed with the culture of Iranians. The movie provides a preview of the Iranian laws. From the movie, it is evident that the male members of the population make all the decision that relate to the national law. Only members of the male population determine the woman as an infidel and stone her to death. This is disturbing because there is no way only a single part of the population can determine the way of life of the whole population.
