Now the question that exists is that despite the advantages of bilingual education such as imparting knowledge to more people, better multi cultural understanding and tolerance, why this whole subject has been a target of controversy. It is still a very complex issue and has always sparked controversy. Education is a relative term, students of linguistic minority might be taught of something that is against their value. Many proponents hold staunch belief that bilingual education increases average success of students in education, enriches students on a personal level, enhances his or her problem solving skills, analytical skills and proficiency in the languages.
