In addition, the study will also research what role, if any, do entrepreneurship graduates play in economic growth or development in Ohio. The study will provide insight for community colleges to analyze their continued role in supporting workforce development through new venture creation. The research creates a link between economic growth and the role community colleges in Ohio play through entrepreneurship education.
The research data will reveal whether or not entrepreneurship education encourages innovation, talent development, and community commitment. The research data will attempt to demonstrate the need to assist community colleges across the country in devising and implementing entrepreneurship programs to promote workforce development and the need to track entrepreneurship graduates at the community college level. The study is important to help identify the role Ohio community colleges play in the economic growth of local communities by promoting and supporting entrepreneurship education on their campuses.
