Furthermore stringent laws become established, and the police left to conduct operations similar to military (Scafer, 2007).

The problem with the introduction and incorporation of concepts of federalization and militarization in policing will be the police using extra force while dealing even with minor problems. In having the skills used by the military, a lot of people may be subjected to mishandledment by the police (Scafer, 2007).

With the increase in terrorism levels in the country, the police force had to learn some means of handling situations like those used by the military (Scafer, 2007).

Both prove to improve the quality of policing. An educated, and a well trained police handle situations presented to him or her in a more orderly way as he or she understands the rights of the person arrested (Wright, 2002).
