1. A summary of the auto industry’s traditional business model and nature of competition. This should describe, among other things, how incumbent auto makers make money. Describing this using a historical context would be beneficial, including a discussion of the many barriers to entry that existed in the industry (prior to Tesla) to new competitors (like Rivian).
