The human rights must be protected by guardian state through concentrating not just the ill-treatment of differing race but also the injustice done by the same race. The most important is the refugee's current status of native region. if presently it is unsafe to stay there, then it would be unjust to send such refugee back there.

The book Refugee Boy reflects Benjamin Zephaniah's concepts when he talks about a teenage boy named Alem who has to seek shelter at a new foreign place. His parents belong to different countries individually. and there is a war between exactly these two countries. Their parents plan to have him left to England with a label of "Refugee" for his safety and better future. Here, Zephaniah emphasizes that such person is not a guest or visitor who comes happily to enjoy. but there is a sad story - a valid reason - with unavoidability. The person, the parents especially in the case of a child, and all other relatives have to scarify much or the most. He reminds himself that each refugee is a person and has sacrificed things to try to seek out a better life in the U.K.

Zephaniah created this book based on stories he has heard as well as his own to create a book that all refugees can relate to. This is not a mere factionary illustration by Zephaniah. but is not any real character as well.
