When exercising against resistance, you subject your muscles to stress but at low levels to the extent that it may not cause any serious damage or injury. During resting, the body rebuilds the muscles and the connective tissues connecting them in a manner that prepares them for any other moment that they will be stressed.

When a similar exercise is repeated over and over again then the muscles gradually become stronger.

Strength training is highly recommended as a form of exercise because it enables the muscles become very strong. Furthermore, it is a very great idea that you include into the exercise any type of workout that you have chosen to perform (Nash, Reifsnyder, Fabius, & Pracilio, 2010). The benefit is that it improves the strength of your body and its endurance allowing you to perform daily activities using less effort. Below are some of the health benefits:
