In the competition, Coleman won first place in heavyweight and overall categories defeating Dobson, who was his trainer.

In the year 1995, Coleman succeeded to be in the first position in the competition as a professional and in 1997, he won the Russian Grand Prix. His success as a professional bodybuilder has led him to many opportunities in his career. He has so far made three training videos. During his training, he prefers using free weights to machines for him to maximize his flexibility and action. In 2001, he received Admiral in Texas Navy Certificate Award for several achievements in bodybuilding and the promotion of body fitness.
