Since effectively answering this question required statistical design, it was necessary to recruit a random sample of at least 40 students in order to gain a cross-cultural perspective on the subject. The random sample was selected to gain knowledge of these attitudes as it relates to students with varying socio-economic and socio-cultural backgrounds.
