Part 2 friends response.

My impression of the celebration of the “Fiesta de Quince Años” base of what I learn in the video is like a fairy tale which only occurs once in your life. A quinceañera is big girls everyday dream sense is the day when we stopped being or parts baby girls. My perception of coming of age differ from Mexican culture because In Mexico is a special day for the girl, the parents, and all the family members, and they celebrated to the heart’s content. While in Cuba is just a day or girls grow up in there not little girls anymore. Sure, in Cuba coming of age is something special but at the same time it is not. The way I would define “coming of age” is by growing. In my culture there is not a specific way to celebrate coming of age. This special day we do celebrate it but not as big as the Mexican culture. Of course, every girl in Cuba want a big birthday party but it is not that simple. For males when celebrating their coming of age is totally different from girls not because they do not want to celebrate, but they are not going to wear a dress. Males celebrate their coming of age, but they do it by going out with their friends or doing something simple and their houses with her family and friends. The biggest difference between males and females when coming of age is that boys do not want fancy party or clothes wile girls do.
