The Discussion for this week will focus on social problems that face families in your community.

• Choose and describe one social problem that faces families in your community.
• What, if anything, has been done to address the problem in your community?
• Has the problem gotten better or worse over time? Explain.
• Discuss how you, as a human services professional, can influence this problem. 

2.Drugs and Law Enforcement

What are the major federal law enforcement agencies involved in drug law enforcement? How do constitutional and jurisdictional limitations constrain drug law enforcement? Why is corruption a problem in drug law enforcement? What can be done to curb the potential for corruption?
