Dear Tax Adviser,
Firstly, let me thank you for your assistance during the last twelve months and more recently for your supervision of the sale of my private Cooks Hill residence. My sudden departure as head of the plastic surgery department at JohnHunterHospital shocked many but it became increasingly obvious to me I needed a new direction. I become dissatisfied with devoting my surgical skills to the beautification of the wealthy, a disenchantment which began to affect my work. My move to Somalia seems to be reinvigorating my spirit and while surgery for war victims is far from stress free my faith in the profession is being restored.
It is difficult at this early stage to see what my future holds. For the present, my current employment with the International Red Cross is providing unlimited and exciting opportunities for both my research and surgery. I also enjoy the new experience of living here and have bought a quaint apartment in the embassy area of the city. Property prices were very cheap but I fear it probably won't be a good long-term investment due to the political uncertainty here. The JohnHunterHospital are supportive and promise to keep my position open for two years should I wish to return. It is reassuring to have that to fall back on but at this stage I am unsure of my attitude to returning to Newcastle. For at least the next year or two I will take advantage of my single, no-ties status and see what a career in international medicine has to offer.

how her departure on 1 February 2018 for Somalia will affect her residency for tax purposes and the taxation implications for the 2018 year?
In this case what references I should use.
