Delegation of Power Leadership

Delegation of Power: As aleader do you believe that power should be delegated? If so, then on what baseswould you delegate power to your followers? Give examples?

I want to know if others feel the same way as I do. I personally feel power should be delegated because successful leaders knows how to hirepeople who are better than them and leave them to do their work because everyone has strength and weaknesses. Please provide workplace examples and 6 to 7 sentences are fine.
