Deliver message by voice is the most important, effective and common method of exchange information for mankind. Language is human specific features and human speech is commonly used as a tool for passing the information to each other. Consider a speech sample of “A POT OF TEA HELPS TO PASS THE EVENING” with a bit rate of 64 Kbps and sampling frequency of 8Khz used in digital transmission.

i) Demonstrate the use of above speech by applying compression algorithm of  Code excited predictive coding and plain Linear predictive coding with a Matlab program                                    

ii) Discuss the effectiveness of speech parameters such as reflection coefficients, pitch, gain and pitch delay used for the reconstruction of encoded speech data with illustrative results from matlab program.    

(iii) Critically Analyze  the results obtained in terms of bit rate, total bits per frame and SNR Performance
