Then, research and address the following in 5–7 pages:

• Which aspects of emotional intelligence did the officers apply to their situation? Explain how they applied these principles. Hint: There are four aspects.
• Analyze the difference between the officers’ initial methodology and their new approach.
• Which approach helped the officers reach their objective? Give an example of something in the new approach that assisted with their objective.
• What is the likelihood for co-operation from the community for future investigations based on this new strategy? Explain why the community may be more open to assisting law enforcement.
• If you were creating a policy to train officers, develop or discuss 2 more strategies that you would propose for the same situation Officer Huth described using what you have learned about unintentional bias and emotional intelligence.
