Descriptive Essay Topic - Describe, in detail, what it means to have a football GIANT such as Deion Sanders, a.k.a. "Coach Prime" to be the Head Coach at Jackson State University. Keep in mind that you are describing from your own perspective. Utilize your knowledge of what you have learned about descriptive writing. Remember, your essay must be formatted according to the guidelines outlined below. No exceptions.Instructions:

1. Write an essay based from the topic below and according to the corresponding pattern.
2. Begin the essay with an introduction before the thesis statement.
3. At the end of the introduction paragraph, include a thesis statement that expresses some type of attitude or opinion.  BE SURE TO UNDERLINE YOUR THESIS STATEMENT.
4. Include your three supporting points within or immediately after your thesis statement.
5. Write supporting paragraphs in the same order the points were listed in the introduction paragraph. Open each body paragraph with the topic sentence that lines up with the thesis statement.  Each body paragraph must be a minimum of 10 sentences and no more than 15 sentences long.
6. Provide an effective conclusion.
7. Revise to make sure sentences make sense and sufficient details are provided; take out sentences that stray from the topic or do not make sense.
8. Be sure the essay has a title and you have properly labeled your paper. Double space your essay.  Do not single space.
9. Proofread carefully to catch grammar, spelling, punctuation and other errors.

REFER TO THE ESSAY TOPIC BELOW AND WRITE A WELL DEVELOPED, FIVE PARAGRAPH ESSAY.  YOUR ESSAY MUST HAVE AN INTRODUCTION, THREE BODY PARAGRAPHS AND A CONCLUSION.

EACH BODY PARAGRAPH MUST HAVE A MINIMUM OF TEN (10) SENTENCES.

THE INTRODUCTION AND CONCLUSION MUST HAVE A MINIMUM OF FIVE SENTENCES.
