Develop a Structured Interview
The purpose of this exercise is to give you experience developing and conducting structured interviews. Develop a structured interview for any job you want to. Your interview guide should:
· Be based on at least 3 competencies/KSAOs (Skill or Ability is not a competency/KSAO but a family of them so narrow it down). Go to the O*NET if in doubt about the relevant competencies/KSAOs for the job
· Include at least 3 interview items for each competency/KSAO (i.e., you only need 9 items total). You can find example items for inspiration at the following site: https://resources.workable.com/interview-questions/, but please write them yourself
· Use only situational and past behavior items, i.e., at least one of each for each competency/KSAO (this means for each competency there will be 2 items of one type and 1 item of the other type)
· Show how the interview will be scored (e.g., include behaviorally anchored rating scales, levelled competencies, or whatever else you are using); include a description of the scoring process
